WHY MGS4 RULEZ!!!!
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the most technically stunning video game ever made. It's also a fine example of storytelling prowess within its medium, combining gameplay and narrative so slickly and beautifully that it's impossible to extricate one from the other. It's likely you will emerge awestruck from your first play-through, wishing the experience would continue yet nonetheless satisfied with its conclusion. It's difficult not to sound hyperbolic when discussing MGS4 because every part of its design seemingly fulfills its vision, without compromise. There is no halfway. Fully realized, lengthy story sequences will come as no surprise to anyone who has played a Metal Gear game. You'll spend a good half of MGS4 watching cinematics, but it would be a grave misinterpretation to assume that great gameplay takes a backseat to the story. Rather, these two elements are tightly intertwined, and this tapestry is held together by an important technical thread: Cutscenes that are rendered fully in real time within the game engine. It's impressive enough that these scenes look as good as any prerendered cinematic you've ever watched. It's even more amazing when those same scenes transition without pause into gameplay, and the same hulking mech you watched lumber about in the cinematic is looming above you. The subtle animations, the lush environments, and the rich textures are the same in and out of story sequences, and the effect is so seamless it may take your breath away. You can skip past the scenes if you prefer, but doing so would soften the experience. The story sequences carry more weight because of the intense gameplay that precedes them--and the gameplay feels more compelling because the story gives you powerful reasons to care about your mission. The high point of this fusion occurs in an exciting and memorable split-screen sequence that simply must be experienced.

SPIDEY CASTS HIS WEB ON THE PS3
The terrific introduction throws you right into the midst of a crisis. The forces of SHIELD have occupied New York and are fighting a losing battle against a massive symbiote invasion. Amid the chaos, Spider-Man is desperate to find Mary Jane. After a quick tutorial that has you swinging across the city pummeling symbiotes, you encounter MJ, and it's clear that all is not well between Peter and her. As she chastises him for using his black symbiote suit, a mysterious figure emerges from a nearby explosion, extends its symbiotic tendrils to envelop Spider-Man, and everything goes dark. Then the game flashes back to four days prior, when Venom assaulted Spider-Man and part of the symbiote that gives Venom his power attached itself to our hero, giving him greater, more destructive strength. This lets you pick up cars and hurl them at Venom, which is as spectacular and satisfying as it sounds. With Venom defeated, everything seems normal again in New York, and Spidey has more run-of-the-mill problems to deal with, like full-scale gang wars. But we know the crisis that looms on the horizon. It's a great setup that pulls you in and makes you eager to keep playing to find out how things get so bad and how it all ends.
The developers have included a few new thrilling features like up-wall chases and airborne fights.
With a gamespot rating of 8.0 this is a must play for all spidey fans. It definitely earns the title best spiderman game of all time.

PSP-3000 (BRITE)
The third installment of the psp has arrived. Following psp-2000(Slim & Lite). A lot of new upgrades but none too good to make it a must buy for old psp owners.
Whats new!
In comparison to the PSP-2000, the PSP-3000 has an improved LCD screen with an increased colour range, five times the contrast ratio, half the pixel response time to reduce ghosting and blurring effects, and anti-reflective technology to improve outdoor playability. It has an integrated microphone, the goal of which is to establish the PSP as "a viable communication device" according to Sony Europe boss David Reeves. PSP games will now be playable on interlaced (non-progressive scan) televisions via composite video cables. start and select buttons have changed from semi-circles to ovals, with the home button being replaced by a "PS Button" similar to the PS3's.
The bad
The screen draws more current than the screen for the PSP-2000, initially causing a reduction in the console's battery life by "about 20 minutes" according to SCEA director of hardware marketing John Koller.

Ultimate Gaming Accessories
GREEN CONTROLLER
At last month's Leipzig Gaming Convention, Konami mentioned that a new Xbox 360 limited edition controller would be coming to Europe. The company's spokesperson said that the green controller would be released alongside Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, and it was unveiled alongside the game at the show.
The Xbox 360 controller has received criticism for its directional pad, which is why this new pad sees a 16-way upgrade. That's up from the 8 directions on the regular pad, although everything else on the joypad remains the same as before.According to Microsoft, the new limited-edition green wireless controller offers "enhancements to d-pad functionality, which will add to the experience of playing games where the d-pad is the primary control mechanism." While only Pro Evo has been announced as supporting the new pad, various rumours suggest other games may offer support, including Street Fighter IV.
SIDE WINDER X8 MOUSE
Microsoft has today announced its newest SideWinder PC gaming peripheral, the SideWinder X8 Mouse. The SideWinder X8 looks similar to the other SideWinder mice, but it comes with several new features including 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and Microsoft's new BlueTrack technology that allows the mouse to work on more surfaces than regular optical and laser mice. The mouse itself shares the same shape as the previous SideWinder mice, but it has a few external changes. The scroll wheel can now register left and right tilts and the side buttons have changed from round nubbins to indented panels for better thumb placement. The macro-record and Windows Games Explorer quick launch button round out the rest of the mouse's clickable options.
ATI RADEON HD 460
Now that the big Radeon HD 4800 series card launches are out of the way, AMD is ready to fill out the rest of its product line-up with more affordable card options including several sub-$100 cards in the new Radeon HD 4600 family. We got our hands on an early evaluation ATI Radeon HD 4670 sample and made it do all sorts of naughty things with 3DMark Vantage, Call of Duty 4, and Crisis.
PS3 WIRELESS KEYBOARD
A new Bluetooth wireless keypad accessory for the PlayStation 3. The PS3 Wireless Keypad, designed to fit onto a DualShock 3 or Sixaxis gamepad, will give players an easy way to enter text on the PS3. Expect the PS3 Wireless Keypad to arrive this November.
